Perfect Mashed Potato Recipe with Cream Cheese

This mashed potato recipe is a perfect and easy recipe for you and your family. Enjoy this creamy warm delicacy that melts in your mouth with a delicious taste.

(For mashed potatoes)
Ingredients:
  • 6 pounds Yukon gold potatoes
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 8 ounces sour cream
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 teaspoon onion salt
  • ½ cup milk


Directions:
  1. Clean gold potatoes thoroughly, peel them and slice into large cubes.
  2. Prepare salted water and the cubed potatoes and bring to a boil until potatoes are tender enough.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, mix in cream cheese, sour cream, spices, and milk; beat until ingredients are properly mixed.
  4. After potatoes are boiled, drain and mash in the pot, then add the cream cheese mixture.
  5. Transfer mixture into a 9x13 pan or a casserole dish. (cover and chill overnight or you can bake it right away)
  6. Cover casserole with foil at 350° Fahrenheit for 45 minutes. Bake for 1 hour if the dish has been refrigerated overnight.
  7. Serve with gravy.


(For gravy)
Ingredients:
  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons instant chicken bouillon granules
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 12 ounce can evaporated fat-free milk
  • ½ cup water

Directions:
  1. In a medium-sized saucepan, stir in all-purpose flour, bouillon granules, and pepper until properly mixed.
  2. Gradually mix in evaporated milk and water into the pan until mixture is smooth and thick. Make sure there are no flour bubbles.
  3. Stir for a couple of minutes more until thick.
  4. Serve over freshly baked mashed potatoes.
  5. Enjoy!
